Molten Core

Hehe, just played through Molten Core. Someone — well not someone, Tiros of Doomhammer US — made the April Fools joke come to life and recreated Molten Core from wow as an old Atari 2600 game, though only in looks. Still, the game is good fun and has the right attitude. Druids CAN solo Molten Core.

Raggy Soloed by druid - you heard it here first.

Now as I’m such a nice guy, I’ll host the game here for a while incase you want to download it too, as it’s currently only on fileplanet and you know how those services can be.

oh so this is jetlag

I never really believed in jetlag. But then again I never flew to the other side of the globe before. Going to LA wasn’t as bad, as while the trip took long, and also longer than the trip back, we arrived at the hotel close to midnight and went straight to bed. So that was all good.

Coming back though, it was horrible. It took several days to get over it, if I’m even over it now. Not to mention the fact that I probably got some nice little virus floating around from the 300 people in the plane, and I don’t feel that good at the moment. Thank god it’s now weekend again and I can try and relax and sleep and drink plenty of warm tea.

Over all, the trip was amazing. I’m finding it a bit hard to write stuff about it now, partly because there’s a lot of stuff I can’t talk about, and partly because it’s all still like a big ball of cluttered yarn in my head. Maybe when I get the video footage done and I can relive some of the moment and locations, I can write something more down. Or maybe the video will be enough. Anyway, that’s gonna be over at Onevice.com once it’s available.

There would have probably been some video released already, but this trip and technology just didn’t seem to mix well. First of all the wireless internet at the hotel, while free, was the crappiest quality of connection that I’ve used. There was no way to use a flash uploader for a 60 meg video to Vimeo using that connection. Then when I got home, one of the hard drives seems to be broken, and I still need to get the backup from Kris again, before I can start working on it. But hopefully that will be soon.

For now, I gotta go make some Warm Soothing Tea [TM] and unload my clean fresh american tee-shirts that I bought and now washed.

Not as grand as I had plans for, but time was running out, as I needed it to be done before I leave for California. So there it is now, nothing much changed from since I’ve been talking about it design wise, but there’s the actual content there now. I wanted to have a cool opening video, and I thought my idea was good. I just didn’t have the time or the clarity of mind during the night to make it happen. Perhaps I’ll hang on to it and do it later.

Anyway, it’s time to go get some rest soon, and then tomorrow is all about packing and preparing. Oh yeah, and new I need to make sure all my gadgets are fully charged for the trip.

2 more.. just 2 more

One working day, then my “saturday” which will be spent packing. Then I get on a beautiful balloon and float across the globe to the city of angels. Bring my wealthy Euros to them.

Apparently California is in trouble, the Governator is asking the federal government for 7 billion dollars to help pay “everyday expenses”. Wow. I’m sure my dimes and nickles will help. Perhaps I get to shake hands with the Securitytomato and assure the good people of the state that their financial future is in good hands.

Anyway, I will have the new site open, and if everything has gone well, we’ll have some videos up soon from Cali. Maybe not daily, but I’ll try to get a few. So from Thursday onwards, keep checking http://www.onevice.com/ on how we’re doing in trying to learn the lifestyle of the rich and the famous.
